Call for Contributions
Research Seminar
Le Havre, September 25 - 27, 2025

Special Journal Issue, Summer 2026
As part of the PACT activities, the present call for contributions initiates discussion between interested scholars on the different dimensions and angles for researching and understanding ports city territories' energy transition, contributing to creating sustainable and inclusive futures.
Contributions are expected to discuss themes, research questions and methodologies to help integrate the diverse economic, functional, spatial, social, and cultural perspectives for the inclusive energy transitions in ports and port city territories. They should take a critical approach and expand the various perspectives through which this topic is currently investigated, or is worth endorsing in the context of the PACT framework and future research.

We invite academics, practitioners, port & city authorities, NGOs, community groups, cultural actors, and transdisciplinary teams to submit proposals aligned with the theme "Energy Transition& Waterfront Futures".
Contributions may take various forms:
